U.S. Virgin Islands VIBIR Income Tax Initiative

Taxpayers, both individuals and businesses, that are delinquent in filing and paying corporate, individual, gross receipts, and withholding taxes can take advantage of a tax amnesty initiative announced by Director Marvin L. Pickering of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue. Penalties will be waived for taxpayers paying the outstanding liabilities and interest on returns covered under the amnesty period. The amnesty period will cover the tax years 2015 and prior and will remain in effect until July 6, 2018.
